Workflows: Browser pop URL contains variable name instead of value

Possible Cause
  • The variable was typed in to the URL instead of added by clicking the tag icon to select the variable in the Manage Workflow Actions gadget.
  • The variable was typed in to the URL with escape for $ and { instead of added by clicking the tag icon in the Manage Workflow Actions gadget.
Recommended Action
  • Click the tag icon to select the variable in the Manage Workflow Actions gadget.
  • Use the Preview button to test the URL, test value, and window name using the same browser as the user.
  • Check the client log for the URL used for the browser pop, the triggered workflow, and the triggering dialog or user event.
