Notes on Single Server Deployment VM configuration

This Single Server Deployment should be used for deployments where the following configuration parameters are met:

  • a maximium of 1500 concurrent agents in Unified CCE
  • a maximium of 150 Unified CCMP Users
  • a maximium of 200 Unified CCMP Folders (with a folder depth no greater than 5)


Notes on Web Server VM configuration

This configuration should be used for deployments where a separate Unified CCMP Web Server is to be deployed and the following configuration parameters are met:

  • a maximum of 8000 concurrent agents in the connected Unified CCE instance
  • a maximum of 48000 configured agents in the connected Unified CCE instance
  • Unified CCMP user count does not exceed 800 users
  • Unified CCMP folder structure does not contain more than 600 folders with a depth of 6 deep


Notes on DB Server VM configuration

This configuration should be used for deployments where a separate Unified CCMP DB Server is to be deployed and the following configuration limits are not exceeded:

  • a maximum of 8000 concurrent agents in the connected Unified CCE instance
  • a maximum of 48000 configured agents in the connected Unified CCE instance
  • Unified CCMP user count does not exceed 800 users
  • Unified CCMP folder structure does not contain more than 600 folders with a depth of 6 deep


Notes on Web/App Server Large Deployment VM configuration

This configuration should be used for deployments where a separate Unified Web/ App Server is to be deployed and the following configuration limits are not exceeded:

  • a maximum of 12000 concurrent agents in the connected Unified CCE instance
  • a maximum of 76000 configured agents in the connected Unified CCE instance

This configuration should be used for deployments where a separate Unified Web/ App Server is to be deployed and the following configuration limits are not exceeded:

  • a maximum of 12000 concurrent agents in the connected Unified CCE instance
  • a maximum of 76000 configured agents in the connected Unified CCE instancet
  • Unified CCMP user count does not exceed 1200 users
  • Unified CCMP folder structure does not contain more than 1000 folders with a depth of 6 deep
  • There are more than 1 million configured Agent / Attribute associations in Unified CCE
  • There are more than 2000 Precision Queues utilizing > 5 steps on average in Unified CCE

IOPS and Storage System Performance Requirements

  • CPU usage (average) should not exceed 60% for the ESXi Server and for each of the individual processors, and for each VM.
  • Memory usage (average) should not exceed 80% for the ESXi Server and for each of the VMs.
  • VM snapshots are not supported in production since they have significant impact on system performance. 
  • Enable hyperthreading on all ESXi servers.
