Steps to deploy the skip-install OVAs using the VI client

  • Login to VMware Vsphere client, go to File > Deploy OVF template

  • On the Source screen, Browse to the OVA file on the local desktop and click on Open. Click Next.
  • On the OVF Template Details screen, click Next.
  • On the End User License Agreement screen, click Accept and then click Next.
  • On the Name and Location screen, enter Name of the Server where you want to deploy OVA and click Next.
  • On the Deployment Configuration, select appropriate user node number. Click Next.
  • On the Storage , select destination storage (datastore). Click Next.
  • For Disk Format, choose Thin Provision . Click Next.
  • Check the summary of Deployment Settings. Click Finish.
