Upgrade: Unable to search archived calls (saved prior to upgrade) in MediaSense Search and Play after an upgrade from 10.5(1) to 11.x
On an upgrade from MediaSense 10.5(1) to MediaSense 11.x, unable to search archived calls (saved prior to the upgrade) in Mediasense Search and Play.
|Problem Summary||Unable to search archive calls (saved prior to upgrade) in MediaSense Search and Play after an upgrade from MediaSense 10.5 to MediaSense 11.x.|
|Error Message||Your search request is invalid or contains bad syntax or cannot be fulfilled.|
|Possible Cause|| The Archive Search functionality searches archive recordings based on a session ID or participant ID. The recordings are stored in the JSON file format on the Archive server. |
There is a change in format of these JSON files from MediaSense 10.5 to MediaSense 11.x. In MediaSense 11.x, a JSON file is a single line file as compared to multiline JSON file in MediaSense 10.5. After an upgrade, the older call recordings still have multiline JSON file format that are not parsed correctly and the call recordings are not displayed in Archived Search results in MediaSense Search and Play.
To run a script on the Archive server that converts the multiline JSON file format (from MediaSense 10.5) to single line JSON file format and makes it searchable in Archive Search of MediaSense 11.x.
