SocialMiner Filters: Creation of script type filter fails with invalid input error

Problem Summary In IE 10 and IE 11, the creation of a filter with the type Script fails under certain conditions with an invalid input error type.
Error Message Invalid input
Possible Cause When you upload a script file, the script local directory path and filename appear in the Script File box. If this text is longer than 85 characters, SocialMiner fails to create the filter and displays an invalid input error.
Recommended Action

In Internet Explorer 10 or 11:

  1. Click Internet Options > Security.
  2. Select Internet and then click Custom level.
  3. Under Miscellaneous, disable Include local directory path when uploading files to a server.
  4. Click OK.
  5. Select Local intranet and then click Custom level.
  6. Under Miscellaneous, disable Include local directory path when uploading files to a server.
  7. Click OK.
  8. Select Trusted sites and then click Custom level.
  9. Under Miscellaneous, disable Include local directory path when uploading files to a server.
  10. Click OK.
