ServiceGrid Article - ServiceItem Data

ServiceItems are the provided services. ServiceItems are holding all attributes of a service including service level agreement, escalation rules, categorization and escalation to queues, but have no reference to a contract initially. When a service delivery is agreed between customer and provider, the service item is referred to the contract.
