Error message when agent changes state 

Problem Summary When an agent changes state, the following error message is displayed “The operation timed out or failed. Please try again or contact the administrator”.
Error Message The operation timed out or failed. Please try again or contact the administrator.
Possible Cause Check the client logs or browser console for any 401 unauthorized error message. If yes, then the user request has not gone through cause the communication between Identity Service and Finesse has failed OR Identity Service is down.
Recommended Action Capture client logs and check with the system administrator.
