Possible Cause
  • The Cisco Unified Intelligence Center certificate is not added to the trust store of the browser.
  • CCE Live Data Socket.IO Service is down
Recommended Action


1. Verify whether LiveData services are up.
2. Open the web developer console of your browser and check if there are errors like : Invalid token from LD service ,_connectionTimeoutCallback() : timeOut
3. Log in to RTMT and download the Unified Intelligence Center server logs.
4. Open the Unified Intelligence Center log.

For example, CCBU-cuic.2013-12-02T16-05-45.299.startup.log. and search for errors related to token :
%CCBU_CUIC_DATA_PROCESSING-0-ERROR: <- StreamingConnectionPoolManager.java:185Error while retrieving token from livedata service: javax.net.ssl.SSLException: Received fatal alert
5. Try restarting the CCE Live Data Socket.IO Service and CCE Live Data Web Service.
6. If issue is not resolved, collect the browser console logs and the server logs as mentioned in points 3 and 4 and reach out to cisco TAC
