Live recording fails with 'Codec not supported' error

Problem Summary Live monitoring fails if there is comfort noise sent from a phone.
Error Message Codec is not supported on <platform> Platform.
Possible Cause In live monitoring, if a phone generates comfort noise packets, VSMS forward these packets to the Search and Play application, but the application does not process (drop) the packets, instead it generates an error message.
Recommended Action For CUBE-based forking, disable comfort noise by entering the "no vad" configuration command in the inbound, outbound & MS dial-peers.
