The Sync Agent does not start even though the data synchronization from Cisco Unified Communications Manger to Cisco Unified Presence works, and you verify that the AXL credentials are correct.

What Caused it?

The Sync Agent may malfunction if the Cisco Unified Communications Manager source data contains some special characters, such as non-English characters.

What Can You Do?

Call the Cisco Technical Assistance Center (TAC) team for more information
