Known Issue: Cisco Unified Communications Manager Updates do not Immediately Sync to Cisco Unified Presence

The initial synchronization from Cisco Unified Communications Manager to Cisco Unified Presence works, but subsequence updates do not replicate on Cisco Unified Presence from Cisco Unified Communications Manager.

What Caused it?

Typically, this occurs when someone changes the IP address, hostname or security password on Cisco Unified Presence or on Cisco Unified Communications Manager, and the change notification fails. To verify this, go to Cisco Unified Presence Administration, and select System > CUCM Publisher.

What Can You Do?

Manually restart the Cisco UP Sync Agent service. Go to Cisco Unified Presence Serviceability, and select Tools > Control Center - Network Services
