Internetworking Operating System (IOS) is Cisco system software that provides common functionality, scalability, and security for all products under the CiscoFusion architecture. Cisco IOS allows centralized, integrated, and automated installation and management of networks, while ensuring support for a variety of protocols, media, services, and platforms.

IOS and CISCO IOS are trademarks of Cisco, registered in the United States and other countries.
