iOS Device fails to connect

Problem Summary Customer has downloaded iOS client but complains that when they click on the expert assist icon nothing happens
Error Message  iOS device console log will show error message depending upon root cause of the issue.
Possible Cause Connectivity issue beween iOS device and App Server
Recommended Action
  • Check device console logs. What do the console logs say?
  • Check server log or tcpdump on App Server. Can you see the connect on the Server when they hit the button?
  • Check on iOS device, application is pointing at the correct server address/port/protocol.
