General Troubleshooting: Procedure to Change the IP Address of Unified CVP Server
|Problem Summary||Procedure to change the IP address of Unified CVP Server|
|Possible Cause||There is a requirement to change the IP address of the Unified CVP Server in the network|
1. Create the new device from the Operations Console. Use the original device as template. From the menu bar of the device, select the Use As Template option. Assign the new IP address to the new device and click Save. Do not select Save and Deploy since you have not changed the physical server to the new IP address.
3. Delete the old license from the device if a license re-hosting is required.
For Unified CVP 9.0(1) and earlier releases, skip Step 4.
Note: The batch file is made available only from 10.0(1) ES 3.
5. From the Operations Console, select Save and Deploy the new device. Re-host the license if required.
6. Restart the server.
