Desktop: Newly created agent cannot sign in

Problem Summary An agent is created in Unified Communications Manager. The agent attempts to sign in to Finesse but the sign-in fails.
Error Message Cannot authenticate with the notification service. There may be a configuration mismatch. Please contact your administrator.
Possible Cause The agent is created in Unified Communications Manager but is not yet synched in Unified CCX.
Recommended Action

Wait 10 minutes and have the agent sign in again. Unified CCX synchronization automatically takes place within 10 minutes.

If you cannot wait for 10 minutes, you can force the synchronization for Unified CCX.

To manually force synchronization:

  1. In the address bar of your browser, enter the following URL to load the Cisco Unified CCX Administrator application:
  2. Sign in using the appropriate credentials.
  3. Open the Subsystems > RmCM > Resources page. Opening the Resources page triggers the synchronization with Unified Communications Manager.
