Configuring Standalone CUIC in UCCX fails with invalid FQDN/network error

Problem Summary Configuring Standalone CUIC in UCCX fails with invalid FQDN/network error.
Error Message UI Error m/s
 Unable to communicate to the CUIC server on the IP address(Hostname)provided. Please verify whether CUIC server is running on this IP address 
 (Hostname) or check the network connection and make sure that CUIC server is reachable from CCX.

 Error Message –Invalid Input
Error data – Invalid FQDN
Error Status – 400 bad request

Possible Cause • Network connection between CUIC server and UCCX is down. Hence, CUIC is not reachable from UCCX server.
• The FQDN provided either does not exists or is incorrect.
Recommended Action Verify if the
• FQDN is correct
• CUIC server is powered ON
• Network connectivity is UP and if CUIC server is reachable from the UCCX server
