This command sets the domain name for the system.

Command Syntax

set network domain domain-name

  • domain-name represents the system domain that you want to assign.

Usage Guidelines

The system requests confirmation that you want to continue to execute this command. If you use set network domain domain-name to change the domain name, you must manually regenerate all of your security certificates in Cisco Unified Operating System Administration. The list of certificates depends on your software release but may include cup.pem, tomcat, ipsec and so on. Caution! If you continue, this command causes a temporary loss of network connectivity.
