Downloading the Certificate from Cisco Unified Communications Manager
Procedure
- Select Cisco Unified OS Administration > Security > Certificate Management on Cisco Unified Communications Manager.
- Select Find.
- Select the CallManager.der file.
- Select Download and save the file to your local computer.

Procedure
- Select Cisco Unified OS Administration > Security > Certificate Management on Cisco Unified Presence.
- Select Find.
- Select the sipproxy.pem file.
- Select Download and save the file to your local computer.
Troubleshooting Tips
Ignore any errors that are displayed regarding access to the sipproxy.csr file; you do not require the certificate that is exchanged with Cisco Unified Communications Manager to be signed by the CA (Certificate Authority).

Before You Begin
Download the certificate from Cisco Unified Communications Manager.
Procedure
- Select Cisco Unified OS Administration > Security > Certificate Management on Cisco Unified Presence.
- Select Upload Certificate.
- Select sipproxy-trust from the Certificate Name menu.
- Browse and select the certificate (.der file) that you downloaded from Cisco Unified Communications Manager.
- Select Upload File.

- Select Cisco Unified Serviceability > Tools > Control Center - Feature Services on Cisco Unified Presence,
- Select Cisco UP SIP Proxy.
- Select Restart.

- Select Callmanager-trust from the Certificate Name menu.
- Browse and select the certificate (.pem file) previously downloaded from Cisco Unified Presence.
- Select Upload File.
