Cisco Unified MeetingPlace Release 6.1 > Cisco Unified MeetingPlace Phone View > Configuring


  • One primary IP address for communication with the Cisco Unified MeetingPlace Audio Server and Cisco Unified Communications Manager server.
    Note: If Cisco Unified MeetingPlace H.323/SIP Gateway and Cisco Unified MeetingPlace Web Conferencing are installed on the same server, you must assign an additional IP address to Web Conferencing, resulting in two IP addresses.
  • You must install Cisco Unified MeetingPlace Web Conferencing and configure Cisco Unified Communications Manager for your network.
  • If you are using Cisco Unified MeetingPlace H.323/SIP Gateway, see Cisco Unified MeetingPlace Release 6.1 -- Cisco Unified MeetingPlace H.323/SIP IP Gateway.
  • Cisco Unified MeetingPlace IP Phone View requires anonymous authentication.
  • Cisco Unified MeetingPlace IP Phone View is installed as part of MeetingPlace Web Conferencing.
  • For Cisco Unified MeetingPlace IP Phone View to work, the Web Authentication settings for Cisco Unified MeetingPlace Web Conferencing are configured to use Web Authentication combinations of Directory set to MeetingPlace and Login Method set to Web Page Form, and no SSL.
  • If you use a hostname, domain name system (DNS) must be enabled to resolve the hostname to an IP address.
  • Each user must be associated with a Cisco Unified IP Phone. For additional information, see the applicable Cisco Unified Communications Manager administration documentation for your release.
  • Make sure you meet the System Requirements for Cisco Unified MeetingPlace Phone View
