Restrictions
- You must have Administrator permissions for the Cisco Unified MeetingPlace Web Server.
- You must install the Cisco Unified MeetingPlace LCS Gateway in the same directory in which you install Cisco Unified MeetingPlace web conferencing. (For example, if you install web conferencing in C:\Program Files\Cisco Systems, also install the Cisco Unified MeetingPlace LCS Gateway in the Cisco Systems directory.)
Procedure
- Log in as an administrator to the Cisco Unified MeetingPlace Web Server.
- Stop the Cisco Unified MeetingPlace web conferencing services. See Managing Cisco Unified MeetingPlace Web Conferencing Services for information about starting and stopping services.
- Stop the Cisco Security Agent for Cisco Unified MeetingPlace service, if applicable.
- Insert the Cisco Unified MeetingPlace LCS Gateway CD into your CD or DVD-ROM drive.
- Double-click the setup.exe file.
- Click Next on the Welcome screen.
- Click Next on the Choose Destination Location screen.
- Click Next on the Start Copying Files screen.
- Click Yes if the system prompts you to install VS C++ 2005 Redistributable.
- Note: The system does not prompt you to install this if it is already on your system. Instead it displays an informational message.
- Click OK.
- The system briefly displays the command line.
- Click OK to start the installation.
- Click Finish from the installation complete window.
- Click OK when the system reminds you to configure the Cisco Unified MeetingPlace LCS Gateway.
