About the Addressing Tab
You can view address information for the Media Server such as IP address informations, Domain Name Server (DNS) information, and Ethernet port speed and duplex from the Addressing tab. Table: Addressing Tab Elements describes the elements that appear on the Addressing tab.

Address of the router that the Media Server uses. |

IP address of the primary DNS server that the Media Server uses. |

IP address of the alternative DNS server that the Media Server uses. |

Information about the Ethernet connection (read-only). |

Port settings |
Ethernet speed and duplex that the Media Server uses. Note: Changing the value selected in the Port settings option causes the Media Server to go offline and reboot. When there is a duplex mismatch between the Media Server and the switch it is attached to, the Media Server goes offline and does not accept any incoming calls. |

MAC address assigned to the Media Server (read-only). |

Port status |
Actual Ethernet speed and duplex that the Media Server uses on the network (read-only). |
Changing Address Settings
You can change the following address information for the Media Server from the Addressing tab: IP address, DNS information, and the Ethernet port speed and duplex.
Procedure
- Do one of the following, in the MSA interface sidebar:
- Click Board (for a Cisco Unified MeetingPlace 3545 Media Server).
- Click Device (for a Cisco Unified MeetingPlace 3515 Media Server).
- Click the Addressing tab.
- Perform one of the following steps to change an IP address setting:
- Enter the IP address that you want to assign to the Media Server in the IP Address field.
- Enter the IP address of the router that you want the Media Server to use in the Router IP field.
- Enter the subnet mask that you want the Media Server to use in the Subnet Mask field.
- Choose the Ethernet port and duplex speed value that you want to set in the Port settings field.
- Click Upload.
