Enabling SMA on a Deployment with One Internal and One External Web Server (no SSL)
Before You Begin
This task applies to the following Cisco Unified MeetingPlace releases:
- Release 7.0
- Release 7.1
Procedure
- Sign in to the end-user web interface on the internal Web Server.
- Click Admin.
- Assign your primary external web server to the DMZ Web Server field on the Admin page.
- Return to the main Administration page and click Site.
- Click the Site Name that represents your internal web server.
- Select the primary external web server.
- This configures the internal web server to point to this external web server in the case of external meetings.
- Click Submit.
Enabling SMA on a Deployment with One Internal and One External Web Server (with SSL)
Before You Begin
This task applies to the following Cisco Unified MeetingPlace releases:
- Release 7.0
- Release 7.1
Procedure
- Enable SMA on an internal web server Admin page.
- Complete the steps in Enabling SMA on a Deployment with One Internal and One External Web Server (no SSL).
- Toggle SSL to ON on the internal Cisco Unified MeetingPlace web server.
- Complete the steps in Toggling On SSL on the Internal Web Server.
- Toggle SSL to ON on the external Cisco Unified MeetingPlace web server.
- Complete the steps in Toggling On SSL on the External Web Server.
Enabling SMA on a Deployment with Multiple Internal and External Web Servers (no SSL)
Before You Begin
- This task applies to load balancing deployments without SSL configuration.
- This task applies to the following Cisco Unified MeetingPlace releases:
- Release 7.0
- Release 7.1
Procedure
- Sign in to the end-user web interface on any internal web server that is part of your load balancing configuration.
- Click Admin.
- Click Site.
- Click the Site Name that represents your cluster of internal web servers.
- Select the primary external web server.
- This configures the internal web servers in this cluster to point to this external web server in the case of external meetings.
- Click Submit.
Enabling SMA on a Deployment with Multiple Internal and External Web Servers (with SSL)
Before You Begin
- This task applies to load balancing deployments with SSL configured.
- This task applies to the following Cisco Unified MeetingPlace releases:
- Release 7.0
- Release 7.1
Procedure
- Enable SMA from any internal web server that is part of your load balancing configuration.
- Complete the steps in Enabling SMA on a Deployment with Multiple Internal and External Web Servers (no SSL).
- Toggle SSL to ON on all internal Cisco Unified MeetingPlace web servers.
- Reboot all internal web servers.
- Toggle SSL to ON on all external Cisco Unified MeetingPlace web servers.
- Reboot all external web servers.
