Use this page to configure automatic system backups and archiving. To find this page, click Maintenance > Backup and Archive.

Note: This page was called "Configure Backup" in Release 7.0.1.

Field	Description
Enable automatic backup	Default: Yes
Enable automatic archiving	Whether to automatically archive the database after a backup. Default: No
Archiving method	Whether to enable archiving via FTP or SSH/rsync. Default: Remote (SSH/rsync)
Pathname location of archive	Directory in which the archived database is saved. Requirement: Include a leading slash before the directory name. Example: /folder_name
Remote archive host	Host name or IP address of the remote server to which the files are archived.
Remote host username Remote host password	Username and password to authenticate to the remote server. Requirement: Use an account that has the privileges to create, access, and write to directories.
Notification e-mail	E-mail address to which the system sends archive execution status.
