Restrictions
  • You must install IBM Lotus Notes with Cisco Unified MeetingPlace Release 7.0 in the same directory as Cisco Unified MeetingPlace web conferencing. For example, if you install web conferencing in C:\Program Files\Cisco Systems, also install IBM Lotus Notes with Cisco Unified MeetingPlace Release 7.0 in the Cisco Systems directory.
  • Passwords in the IBM Lotus Notes with Cisco Unified MeetingPlace Release 7.0 installer are case-sensitive.


Prerequisites
  • Install Cisco Unified MeetingPlace web conferencing Release 7.0 on the server on which you are going to install IBM Lotus Notes with Cisco Unified MeetingPlace Release 7.0.
  • You must have Administrator permissions.
  • Install the applicable release of the IBM Lotus Notes client, depending on your Lotus Domino Server.
  • You must already have run the IBM Lotus Notes client (that is, opened the client, connected to the Lotus Domino Server, and closed the client) so that the notes.ini file was created.


Procedure
  1. Insert the IBM Lotus Notes with Cisco Unified MeetingPlace Release 7.0 CD in to your CD or DVD-ROM drive.
  2. Double-click the setup.exe file.
  3. Click Next in the first InstallShield wizard screen.
  4. Click Browse to locate the notes.ini file for the gateway account. The system leaves the path blank if the installer cannot find or detects more than one notes.ini file on your system.
  5. Click Next.
  6. Choose where to install the integration.
  7. Click Next.
  8. Enter the web hostname.
  9. Click Next.
  10. Enter the password for the gateway account that you created.
  11. Click Next.
  12. Select a program folder.
  13. Click Next.
  14. Click Next.
  15. Select Yes from the last installer window.
  16. Click Finish.
    The system restarts the server.
