Call Control: Cannot use phone to complete conference after initiating consult on desktop 

Problem Summary An agent initiates a consult call from the Finesse desktop. The agent's phone only shows the Transfer button. The agent then cannot use the phone to conference the call.
Error Message None
Possible Cause Because of the way Finesse implements consult calls, when an agent initiates a consult call to a route point or to another agent, only the Transfer button appears on the agent's phone. The agent can still use the Finesse desktop to transfer or conference the consult call.
Recommended Action To complete the consult call as a conference call, use the Finesse desktop. If agents must use their phones to perform these actions, they must initiate the consult as a conference and then complete the conference.
