Cisco does not provide pre-configured OVA files for Cisco Unity. Please build manually using these requirements and the configuration information in the Design Guide for Cisco Unity Virtualization.
NOTE: Virtualized Cisco Unity appliances require VMWare CPU affinity.
NOTE: Cisco Unity software versions have reached their end of maintenance. They will not be certified for any releases post VMWare ESXi5.1.
Customers are encouraged to move to a supported version of the Cisco Unity Connection software.

Notes on 5000 user VM configuration

Cisco Unity Requires VMWare CPU affinity when running as a virtual machine

The four disks are divided as follows -

  • vDisk 1 = Operating system
  • vDisk 2 = Cisco Unity binaries
  • vDisk 3 = Cisco Unity logs, SQL Server transaction logs
  • vDisk 4 = Cisco Unity Message Repository (UMR), SQL Server database

Cisco does not provide pre-configured OVA files for Cisco Unity. Please build manually using these requirements and the configuration information in the Design Guide for Cisco Unity Virtualization.

Limits:

  • 48 ports
  • 36 text-to-speech ports

Notes on 15000 user VM configuration

Limits:

  • 144 ports
  • 36 text-to-speech ports
