Notes on 12-port VM configuration

Capacities:

TS Sizing and Co-residency

For co-residency with other Cisco Collaboration apps, TS follows all of the standard virtualization sizing and co-residency rules (click here).  Due to the large vcpu footprint of the TS VM, this means co-residency will be limited to higher-density servers with >20 total physical server cores.


In addition, TS may deploy vcpu vs. Logical Cores, but only if it is deployed by itself on a host, or co-resident only with non-Cisco-Collaboration apps that also allow deploying vcpu vs. Logical Cores. E.g the 20-vcpu VM deployed against Logical Cores on a host that only contains TS VM and non-UC apps would only require 10 physical CPU cores on that physical server. 


Recall that none of the other Cisco Collaboration apps support CPU oversubscription and are requried to deploy vcpu vs. Physical Cores even when hyper-threading is enabled in the physical CPU.
