Aligned SAS or SCSI drives required for deployments of this size.


Notes on Large VM configurations

Aligned SAS or SCSI drives required for App server.

FC SAS with aligned disks required for Database server for deployments of this size.

Both an "App Server" VM config and a "DB Server" VM are required.

Aligned SAS or SCSI drives required for App server.

IOPS and Storage System Performance Requirements

IOPS are per Unified CM Publisher synced in parallel.   E.g. if only one Publisher synced at a time, then total IOPS are 100 average / 500 max.   If two Publishers synced in parallel, then total IOPS are 200 average and 1000 max.

Max IOPS occur during nightly Infrastructrure or Subscriber syncs.
