Two Users on the Same Client Must use Different Browsers
| Problem Summary | Display issues in certain functions. |
|---|---|
| Error Message | None |
| Possible Cause | Two users who sign in to Unified IC on the same computer must use different browsers.
For example, if User #1 signs in using Internet Explorer and performs a function such as adding dashboard. User #1 then leaves for lunch, but does not log out and is not away long enough for the forced system timeout. User #2 logs in to Unified IC on the same computer, also using Internet Explorer. In doing this, User #2 effectively logs User #1 out. Unified IC now recognizes the cookie for User #2's session activity. All new requests and actions are handled as originating from User #2. |
| Recommended Action | Review the titlebar at the top the Unified IC page to verify who is currently recognized as the logged in user. |
