Installation Problems

Problem Summary Install of Support Tools hangs.
Error Message None.
Possible Cause During installation, the installer tries to close the "Computer Management" window because itcontains a list of the running services that have to be updated. If there is an open/active dialogbox anywhere from that application, the ST install will not be able to close it and the install willjust wait (and appear to be stuck or frozen).
Recommended Action Close the open dialog box. The Computer Management window will close, and the ST installwill continue.
Release Release 7.5(1) and 8.0
Associated CDETS # None.
