SocialMiner Chat - Agent encounters error when connecting to server 

Problem Summary Agent sees "An error has occurred connecting to the chatroom. Click End or refresh your browser to exit." 
Error Message An error has occurred connecting to the chatroom. Click End or refresh your browser to exit.
Possible Cause XMPP Server is down.
Recommended Action

Log in to the console of the SocialMiner server machine as the admin user configured at installation-time.

To list the services and their statuses, on the command line, type: utils service list

Look for SocialMiner XMPP Server.

Start the XMPP Server on the SocialMiner server machine. Type (do not use quotes): utils service start SocialMiner XMPP Server
