SocialMiner Chat - Agent encounters error when attempting to reply to a Chat contact

Problem Summary When attempting to reply to a Chat Social Contact, an Agent sees a "Saving" indicator or "Error - No response from system. Your network connection may be down."
Error Message Error - No response from system. Your network connection may be down.
Possible Cause The Cisco Tomcat service is down.
Recommended Action

Log in to the console of the SocialMiner server machine as the admin user configured at installation-time.

To list the services and their statuses, on the command line, type: utils service list

Look for Cisco Tomcat.

Start Tomcat on the SocialMiner server machine. Type (do not use quotes): utils service start Cisco Tomcat
