MediaSense server is unable to keep up with incoming recordings
| Problem Summary | The Cisco MediaSense server is unable to keep up with the number of recordings it's supposed to capture. |
|---|---|
| Error Message | None. |
| Possible Cause | By default, if the battery backup is not present or not operational, the write cache is disabled on the RAID controllers in the C-Series. When the write cache is disabled, write throughput is lowered. |
| Recommended Action | The RAID controllers in the C-Series have an optional battery backup for the write cache. Add the battery backup cache to achieve better performance. |
| Release | Release 8.5(1), Release 8.5(2), and Release 8.5(3). |
| Associated CDETS # | None. |
