Reporting Server Cannot Initialize JDBC Connection
Problem Summary | The Reporting Server is unable to initialize the Java Database Connectivity (JDBC) connection. |
Error Message | RPT-3-REPORTING_INTERNAL_ERROR: Can't initialize the JDBC Connection
java.sql.SQLException: com.informix.asf.IfxASFException: Attempt to connect to database server (cvp_db_<dbserver>) failed. |
Possible Cause | The database is disconnected and is unable to reconnect possibly due to a bad password. |
Recommended Action | Check the database password from the Operations Console. From the Device Management menu select CVP Reporting Server. Select the Reporting Server, then select Database Administration -> Change User Passwords. Click Database User and change the password. |
