Reporting Server: Goes to Partial Service Mode

Problem Summary The reporting server goes into the partial service mode. The Reporting Server status is 'partial' on the OAMP Console Devices list.
Error Message Examples of messages:
  • ("ALERT!!!!! File size has exceeded the max limit....") appears in the error log and is sent as the SNMP trap.
  • ("WARNING!!!!! File size is approaching the max limit....") means that CVPReporting.tmp is 75% full.
Possible Cause The database is disconnected, and the file CVPReporting.tmp is full.
Recommended Action Go to My Computer -> Manage -> Services and Applications -> Services. Check that "Informix Dynamic Server Message Service" and "Informix IDS - cvp_db_<dbserver>" are started. If they are not, start them.
