Reporting Server: Cannot Initialize the JDBC Connection

Problem Summary The JDBC connection does not initialize.
Error Message RPT-3-REPORTING_INTERNAL_ERROR: Can't initialize the JDBC Connectionjava.sql.SQLException: com.informix.asf.IfxASFException: Attempt to connect to database server (cvp_db_patsrep2) failed.
Possible Cause This might be a password issue.
Recommended Action Check the password with the OAMP tool.
  1. In Device Management, select Reporting Server.
  2. In the specific reporting server, select Database Administration->Change User Passwords.
  3. Select Database User.
  4. Change the password.
