Reporting: Script slows down the Filter page in Internet Explorer
Problem Summary
The Filter page, when open in Internet Explorer, is slow and displays a warning when there are more than 1500 system collections with about 15,000 values in them.
Error Message
Possible Cause
You have exceeded the maximum number of scripts that can be run on the Internet Explorer page.
Recommended Action
Do the following:
1) Go to Start menu > Run.
2) Type regedit.
3) Open the registry key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\InternetExplorer\Styles. If the Styles key is not present, create a new key that is called Styles.
4) Right click anywhere in the right pane and create a new DWORD value called "MaxScriptStatements".
5) Copy and paste that in to the name box and set the value to the desired number of script statements, for example 8000000.
