SMDS Interface Protocol (SIP)

Definition

SIP (SMDS Interface Protocol) is used in communications between CPE and SMDS network equipment. Allows the CPE to use SMDS service for high-speed WAN internetworking. Based on the IEEE 802.6 DQDB standard.
