|

The videoconf license limits the number of concurrent video participants in meetings. The available number of video ports may be further limited by the [[Cisco Unified MeetingPlace Release 8.0 -- Licenses for your Cisco Unified MeetingPlace System#maxvideo|maxvideo]] license.

If you do ''not'' install the videoconf license, the system can use only the six trial video ports for meetings. (A port is defined as a single video caller connecting at any rate.)

The voiceconf license limits the number of concurrent voice participants in meetings, including:
* Calls to and from the system
* Voice participants in meetings

The available number of voice ports may be further limited by the [[Cisco Unified MeetingPlace Release 8.0 -- Licenses for your Cisco Unified MeetingPlace System#maxvoice|maxvoice]] license.

If you do ''not'' install the voiceconf license, the system can use only the six trial voice ports for premium (scheduled) meetings.

The maxvideo license denotes the maximum number of video licenses that can be used for meetings on this particular system. If the [[Cisco Unified MeetingPlace Release 8.0 -- Licenses for your Cisco Unified MeetingPlace System#videoconf|videoconf]] license count exceeds the value of the maxvideo license, the system uses the value of the maxvideo license instead.

The system displays any maxvideo license limitations in the Comment field on the Licenses Summary page.

Restriction: If you purchase and install a new maxvideo license, it overwrites the old one. The new port count is not added to the previous port count.
