To use the online help for the Media Server, you can place the help files in a shared directory either on a computer in your network or on your PC and then register the directory location in the MSA interface.

Location of the Help Files
You must manually download and install the online help files for the Media Server Administrator. The help files are located here: http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/ps5664/ps5669/products_installation_and_configuration_guides_list.html
There are two sets of files, depending on the type of Media Server you have:

Downloading the Online Help Files
Procedure
- Go to http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/ps5664/ps5669/products_installation_and_configuration_guides_list.html.
- Click the name of the file that you need, depending on your system.
- Click Save.
- Save the file to a convenient location.
- Unzip the files to a new directory called help.
- The system unzips the online help files into the help directory as follows:
- <location>\help\3545mcu\mcu\..... (for the Cisco Unified MeetingPlace 3545 Media Server)
- <location>\help\3515mcu\mcu\..... (for the Cisco Unified MeetingPlace 3515 Media Server)
Installing the Online Help Files
Procedure
- Copy the help directory to a shared directory on your PC, such as <drive>:\<location>\help or to an HTTP server on your network that the Media Server can access.
- Log in to the Media Server Administrator (MSA) interface.
- Do one of the following, in the MSA interface sidebar:
- Click Board (for a Cisco Unified MeetingPlace 3545 Media Server).
- Click Device (for a Cisco Unified MeetingPlace 3515 Media Server).
- Click the Web tab.
- Paste the URL where the online help is located in the Online Help URL field. Enter the complete path up to, but not including, the mcu directory, as follows.
If you saved the file to a shared directory on your PC:

6. Click Upload in the toolbar.
7. Click Refresh.
8. Log out of the MSA interface.
9. Log back in to the MSA interface.
10. Click Help to ensure that the online help installed correctly.
