Up one level: Configuration
WAV files are typically supported by common web browsers and do not require that users have dedicated players.
Before You Begin
See Recording Size for an estimate of how much disk space you will need for this type of audio file. You should always make sure that you have enough disk space available to support all of your recordings and attachments.
Procedure
- Sign in to the end-user web interface.
- Click Admin.
- Click Audio Conversion.
- Select Yes for Convert to WAV.
- Select the quality of your WAV files for Wav Bits Per Sample.
- The higher the bit size, the better the quality and the larger the file size. The default and recommended value is 16.
- Click Submit.
What to Do Next
If this Web Server is part of a load balancing configuration, go to each Web Server within the cluster and set the Audio Conversion setting so that they match.
