Cisco Unified MeetingPlace Audio Server

To determine the Cisco Unified MeetingPlace Audio Server software version in use, follow these steps:


  1. Open the command line interface (CLI) window for the Cisco Unified MeetingPlace Audio Server.
  2. Enter release.
  3. Press Enter.


The system displays the Audio Server version.


Cisco Unified MeetingPlace Gateways and Services

Caution! If Cisco Unified MeetingPlace components have been upgraded recently, the version numbers may not be accurate unless you restart the Cisco Unified MeetingPlace Gateway System Integrity Manager (GWSIM).


To determine the Cisco Unified MeetingPlace gateway versions and services that are in use, follow these steps:


  1. If Cisco Unified MeetingPlace components have been upgraded recently, restart the Cisco Unified MeetingPlace Gateway System Integrity Manager (GWSIM).
  2. Open the command line interface (CLI) window for the Cisco Unified MeetingPlace Audio Server.
  3. Enter gwstatus.
  4. Press Enter.


The system displays the Cisco Unified MeetingPlace gateway versions and services that are in use.


Cisco Unified MeetingPlace Web Conferencing


Main Application

To determine the Cisco Unified MeetingPlace Web Conferencing software version, open a web browser and navigate to the Cisco Unified MeetingPlace Web Conferencing home page. The software version is displayed at the bottom of the page.


Cisco Unified Presenter Add-In on a PC

  1. Open a web browser and navigate to the Cisco Unified MeetingPlace Web Conferencing home page.
  2. Sign in to Cisco Unified MeetingPlace Web Conferencing, then click Immediate Meeting.
  3. On the meeting room menu, click Help > About Cisco Unified MeetingPlace.
    The Cisco Unified Presenter Add-in version is displayed at the bottom of the window.



Cisco Unified MeetingPlace Video Integration


Cisco Unified MeetingPlace Video Integration Component

  1. On the Cisco Unified MeetingPlace Web Conferencing server, in the Windows Control Panel, double-click MeetingPlace Gateways.
  2. Click the Video tab.
    The version is displayed at the top.


Video Administration for Cisco Unified MeetingPlace Component

In the Video Administration server web interface, click the Help About icon.


Cisco Unified MeetingPlace for Microsoft Outlook

Look at the Microsoft Outlook scheduling form:

  1. Open your Microsoft Outlook calendar and double-click a time.
  2. Click the MeetingPlace tab.
  3. Click About.
    The Cisco Unified MeetingPlace for Microsoft Outlook and Cisco Unified MeetingPlace Web Conferencing versions are displayed in the About Cisco MeetingPlace for Microsoft Outlook window.


Or telnet to the Cisco Unified MeetingPlace Audio Server system and log in as a technician, then use the procedure in Cisco Unified MeetingPlace Gateways and Services above.


Cisco Unified MeetingPlace for IBM Lotus Notes

  1. Log on to the Cisco Unified MeetingPlace for IBM Lotus Notes integration server.
  2. On the system tray, double-click the Cisco Unified MeetingPlace icon (orange door).
  3. Click the Notes Gateway tab.
    The Cisco Unified MeetingPlace for IBM Lotus Notes version is displayed in the Version field.



Cisco Unified MeetingPlace for Microsoft Office Communicator

  1. Log on to the Cisco Unified MeetingPlace LCS Gateway.
  2. Browse to the installation directory. (By default, the installation directory is C:\Program Files\Cisco Systems\MPLCSGateway.)
  3. Right-click Mplcsgw.exe and click Properties.
    The system displays the version number in the properties window.



Cisco Security Agent for Cisco Unified MeetingPlace

The version of Cisco Security Agent for Cisco Unified MeetingPlace and the version of the policy that the agent was created with are the same. Do the following procedure to determine the version for both the agent and the policy.


To Determine the Cisco Security Agent for Cisco Unified MeetingPlace Version and Policy Version in Use
  1. Double-click the Cisco Security Agent taskbar icon.
  2. In the tree control on the left of the Cisco Security Agent Panel, click Status.
  3. The version number in the Product ID field applies both to Cisco Security Agent for Cisco Unified MeetingPlace and to the policy that the agent was created with.


To Determine the Version of the Cisco Security Agent Engine

Right-click the Cisco Security Agent taskbar icon, and click About.
