Supported Virtual Machine OVA Templates

A virtual machine template defines the configuration of the virtual machine's virtual hardware. Open Virtualization Format (OVF) is an open standard for describing a virtual machine template, and Open Virtualization Archive (OVA) is an open standard to package and distribute these templates. Files in OVA format have an extension of ".ova".

The OVAs contain virtual hard disks with pre-aligned disk partitions. Using the OVA is the only way to deploy the UC applications on aligned disks. Using the OVA also guarantees that all configuration of the virtual machine is correct and supported.

Note: In BE6000 9.0 Release, installation media (.OVA and .ISO files) are pre-loaded in the datastore.

Cisco Unified Provisioning Manager

Cisco Unified Provisioning Manager for Cisco Business Edition 6000 is delivered as an Open Virtual Appliance (OVA) file. The OVA file is not available for download. It is available only with new purchases of Cisco Business Edition 6000. The OVA file that is shipped with Cisco Business Edition 6000 includes the RHAT linux operating system as well as pre-installed Provisioning manager application. For more details on installing provisioning manager please refer to the quick start guide posted below.
