After the replication between Primary/Secondary was created, the initial snapshot was successful but the merge agents would fail

Problem Summary After the replication between Primary/Secondary was created, the initial snapshot was successful but the merge agents would fail.

The following error was observed: The process could not enumerate changes at the 'Publisher' (Source: Merge Replication Provider (Agent); Error number: -2147200999. Procedure of function sp_MSenumchanges has too many arguments specified. Source: CCM-IVRA-IPCC01\CRSSQL (Data source); Error number: 8144

Error Message The process could not enumerate changes at the 'Publisher' (Source: Merge Replication Provider (Agent); Error number: -2147200999. Procedure of function sp_MSenumchanges has too many arguments specified.

Source: CCM-IVRA-IPCC01\CRSSQL (Data source); Error number: 8144

Possible Cause The stored procedure mentioned is specifically related to SQL hotfix 2282. While the SQL versions are technically matching between nodes it seems the SQL hotfix 2282 is corrupted on Node1 as the stored procedure is having a different number of arguments.
Recommended Action Uninstall and install SQL hotfix 2282.
Release Release 7.0, Release 5.0
